Glass-Reinforced Polyester (GRP)

Glass fiber reinforced polyester is often abbreviated as GVK (=Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic). GVP would be more logical, but you almost never hear that. Occasionally, VVK (=Fiber Reinforced Plastic) is used, or even more commonly, the English abbreviations GRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic) or FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic). Note that in these abbreviations, the “P” stands for plastic, not polyester.
