Glass fibre reinforced polyester, that´s what this cart – which you undoubtedly recognise from amusement parks – is made of. The material is ideal for this: it’s light, corrosion-resistant, has many design possibilities and you can produce parts in colour. The Moorsele-based ACL also uses polyester for e.g. the chemical and the food industry, for sanitary applications, medical equipment… The company works out a design, produces a model, makes a mould and creates a prototype in order to ultimately make the shaped parts, in series of one to five hundred units.
