Personal and computer data that we process

ACL Polyester processes personal data of both customers and prospects. By making use of the unsubscribe option on our website and/or our mailings, you agree that these data are stored.

Below is an overview of the personal data that we process:

System customers:

  • First name
  • Last name
  • E-mail address and e-mail traffic
  • Telephone numbers
  • Street, number, box
  • System configuration (+ printed customer file)
  • Local and external IP address

Copy of the database upon installation or updating, whereby incoming information (depending on how the customer processes it) can appear:

  • National register number
  • Date of birth
  • Date of entering and leaving service
  • Marital status
  • Number of children
  • Name and telephone number of partner.

  • Support of the installed system both locally (software adaptations, testing and debugging

How long are these data retained?

ACL Polyester retains the above-mentioned data for a period of 5 years in order to satisfy the employment law in case a loss of the database occurs at the system customer and no back-up is available. In all other cases these data are kept for a maximum of 3 years. 

Sharing with others

ACL Polyester does NOT provide the above-mentioned data to third parties, and only in exceptional cases is the database of the system customers passed on to the supplier for database conversion or specific support. In that case as well, these companies are in accordance with the GDPR regulations and the data are not shared outside the EU.

Accessing, adapting or removing data

You have the right to access, correct or remove your personal data. You can send a request for access, correction or removal to info@aclpolyester.com. In order to be certain that the request for access is made by you, we will ask you to legally prove to us that you are the person or manager of the company. ACL Polyester will respond to your request (or fulfil it) as quickly as possible, but at the latest within two weeks.

Security

ACL Polyester takes data protection seriously and therefore takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unwanted disclosure, unauthorised access or modification. If you believe that your data are not being properly protected or there are indications of abuse, contact us via info@aclpolyester.com. It is always possible to file a complaint via the new GDPR facilities.

This declaration can be adapted without prior notice, as a function of legal developments, for example. We therefore ask that you regularly check whether and, as appropriate, which modifications may have been made to it. Changes enter into effect as soon as they are announced on this website.
